Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix cover

Nice cover, but you only get the true effect of that song if you do it the way Hendrix does it, the slow bluesy style without the metal distortion.

Ive have just formed a band myself, they are wanting a unique metal sound, but im gonna be creating some awsome, bluesy riffs whether they like or not. You're a good guitarist also, stop doubting yourself, if you do that then you will never get better.

Oh, and how did you get the music through that site, we seem to lack any recording experiance, and equipment for that matter lol.

I just use my PC and my crappy sound card. I record everything one by one, there is a bass and an organ that I play using my midi keyboard in that song, a software drum machine from Reason 3.0 and two seperate guitars.

Pretty good. As Shift said, more bluesly though. You don't have to have distortion to make it "heavy"...

I was just liestening to this song, it's not even supposed to be heavy.

Hendrix R god.

The Truth.

But what i mean by heavy is modern metal, the heavy of the sixties was at its best with Hendrix with songs like Voodoo Chile, or the 5 minutes (Lol) of feedback riff on Machine Gun.
