Yesterday i had an discussion with my friend weather you can call the above presented system a HIGHEND system or not. What do you guys think??

I would say it's highend.
I generally look to performance and not cost when considering that. ;)

My 3400+ 64-bit Athlon is clocked to 2,4 ghz. Your's is 2,2... How come?

2.4GHz 512kb L2 Cache vs 2.2GHz 1MB L2 Cache.

if this was a german forum i would scream "SCHWANZVERGLEICH" now...

Whats the difference beside the speed?

Does anybody know a website where different x800 pro GPU are compared ?

The difference besides the speed is the L2 cache size. the 2.4ghz has a 512kb L2 cache, the 2.2ghz has a 1MB L2 cache.
