highway 17 help at a bridge

i am stuck at the first bridge after the gunship bridge. it has a force field. it is where u get the crossbow right before. ikill everyone, cant find a way to shut off the force field to get my buggy across. help please :bonce:

The force field switch is on the other side of the bridge....work your way across on walkways and girders UNDER the bridge.

i cant get under the bridge. i see no path. i try jumping and i cant make it, and even then how would i get back up. man i dont get it. i feel dumb.

you're talking about the first barrier?

the barrier is hooked to the battery of the combine APC...remove the wheel blockers or knock it over with the manipulator...then the force field should be disconnected.
