Highway 17 (THE CRANE)

Allright, I know that what I need to do here is to pick up the dune buggy with the crane and put it up on the dock. The problem is that i somehow latched onto one of the huge red container things and the crane wont let go of it. Any thoughts???

that doesnt seem to work. it looks like the magnet part of the crane is inside the container(which I dont know know how the heck that happened)so it might be some kind of a glitch.

Open the console and take note of the map name in the top right corner (in small red text). Then use the "map <nameofmap>" command to reload the map.

Can you still move it? You can knock down the bridge with it to get over to the other side, then once you get over there, use the console to spawn a new jeep.

I liked the crane. It was really gimmiky and awkward but I thought it was loads of fun for the minute it lasted.

Aye, that was a fantastic segment of the game. Especially positioning the container directly over the soldiers' heads and then dropping it.

Also, I wonder what freaky accident happened to the soldiers there that caused their APC to flip over...

So you're at the crane part eh? That reminds me, I was playing Smod(I think that's the name) and the strangest bug happened. I was trying to use the crane to lower that wood bridge and guess what, I managed to knock the damn thing straight off it's hinges. The wood bridge flew off a hundred meters and landed in the water:|

Hmm that happened to me once. The crane got stuck on to my buggy though. VERY annoying i just went from the last save.

Nothing beats spinning a container as fast as possible and then letting go to see how far it flies haha. Or maybe just crushing the combine with it is also a good laugh.

I planned to make a crane mod for a while, actually.

I managed to knock the damn thing straight off it's hinges.

For some reason whenever I play that part, I always assume that's going to happen.
