Hillary gets owned by Obama (literally)

She sure was acting like a bitch there. That was quite mocking, her laughter.

Own-dididly-owned. -Ned Flanders

Hermmm, what kind of "advising" and "talent" is he speaking of? *COUGH* under desk relationship *COUGH* well, if your talking about putting her in her place. :naughty:

Pro Obama if it comes down to him or Giuliani

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH SNAP

That was a shit burn. Shit shit shit.

Oh boy, if Obama gets to be president I can't wait to see the look on that whores face.

Whoo! Obama kicks ass.

It was subtle, but the message was clear.

Pro Obama '08

It wasn't that great of a burn. But our idiotic electorate will see this and Obama's poll numbers will jump which is a sad reflection of our current system. Nothing in our elections has to do with what these people believe, its a matter of who is more likable.

With that said I think Obama would make a way better president than Clinton, but I just don't understand why something like this gives you a bump in the polls.

What burn? Pretty weak to be honest.

...that was a major burn, considering all those people are doing everything in their power to become president.

Nothing in our elections has to do with what these people believe...

whats with the Hilary hate? Did i miss something?

it's because ..

A. (some) republicans hate bill clinton moreso than hitler, so by extension his wife
B. her stance on video games/entertainment (i think most people here would say this is their justification)
C. she's a woman ..and kinda of a bitch (at least that's the perception, this video doesnt help), which doesnt play well with people who already arent too keen on the idea of a female in a position of authority
D. die-hard republicans are foam at the mouth crazy and jump on the populist bandwagon whenever the opportunity arises, most likely because they see her as a threat

D, C and A are probably the most accurate ..I mean there's a whole whack of republican/conservatives with an axe to grind with the clinton family:

some articles written about hilary:

THE REAL HILLARY CLINTON:

- Defiling the White House Christmas Tree
- Hillary, the Commies, and the Black Panthers
- Sister Frigidaire

NOTE: the survival of our Republic is threatened by two things -- fundamentalist Islamic terrorists and Hillary Rodham Clinton. President Bush is leading the fight against the terrorists. It is up to those of us who know the real Hillary Clinton to lead the fight against her. We must shine the light of truth on this dangerous woman so that all Americans may know the real Hillary.

and that's just one site, albeit an influential/popular republican site ..this is part of the problem of the nature of partisan politics in the US; when presidential candiadates are so vehemently attacked and the main issues are ignored there's somethign definately wrong with the political process of electing someone into office ..I also think the media has zero accountability when it comes to editorialising their news report ..the sensational gets far more airtime than discussing the actual issues

Stern, that was a ridiculous oversimplification.

Hillary isn't even remotely populist, she's owned by the same corporations that Bush and must of the Republican nominees are. She's even been bought out of her supposedly strong convictions on healthcare. Her nationalized healthcare policy is actually one of the weakest of all her fellow nominees. She's a hypocrite. Bill wasn't that great either to be honest, just look at what he did with NAFTA. Completely ****ing over our economy for corporate interests, just like Bush.

Hilary is one of the worst candidates running right now, even worse than some of the Republicans. While I wouldn't normally be a huge fan of Obama he is clearly the superior alternative, with Edwards being my main choice.

ya well you didnt understand what I mean by populist ..this isnt it:

what does this have to do with anything besides agreeing with my point that some people still have an axe to grind with Clinton?

I didnt give an opinion either way so I dont see why you think I'm defending her ..I'm calling it as I see it

my roommate lol'd as hard as I did and said "good ****ing game"

Would have been better if he happy slapped her. That was pretty lame.

She's seems like a total bitch to be honest. Kind of reminds me of Rudy Gulliani of the Republican party. My voting preference will go like this: Dennis Kucinich-->Ron Paul-->Obama-->I won't vote. If it's Hillary or Giuliani for the two candidates, it would be like having to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

If it's Hillary or Giuliani for the two candidates, it would be like having to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

If it comes down to that I'm seriously leaving this country. I'm not about to stick around when the general population is continuously votes retards and assholes into office.

Stern, I think you'll find that most republicans, conservatives, and for that matter, human beings in general, all hate George Bush. Stop relating Bush with Republican. He's a globalists bastard who needs to diiiiiii I just realized the senate is watching the internets and just "Love" George Bush with all my heart... Yeaaa, Sure.

ya well you didnt understand what I mean by populist

I misread your original post and didn't see that you weren't referring to her as being populist but rather Republicans attempting to discredit her, which makes my response to that comment irrelevant.

I was insinuating that her loyalty to big business goes directly against the very definition of populist, which certainly seems fair, but yeah - irrelevant.

what does this have to do with anything besides agreeing with my point that some people still have an axe to grind with Clinton?

She shares many of the same policy positions as her husband, which subjects her to many of the same critiques.

I didnt give an opinion either way so I dont see why you think I'm defending her ..I'm calling it as I see it

I didn't say you gave an opinion nor was I arguing against you. I said you grossly oversimplified the case against her, and I believe I was right. You don't have to be a gamer or a bitter Republican to take issue with her, and if you looked into her politics more closely you'd find she is very similar to her Republican counterparts.

Does nobody see the problem that we have father/son and possibly husband/wife presidents? This is supposed to be a democracy. If we are actually choosing the ideal best leader, what are the odds that they are all related to each other? Sounds more like nobility.

Your right its not a democracy we get to choose who the mass media chooses.

Well, it's not as if being related/spouses does not give you a better judgment of what's to be expected of you. Though, you said it yourself with "IDEAL best leader." That's rather left to one's perception which, especially in this day and age, is a major factor.

considering all those people are doing everything in their power to become president.

Which just makes it all the lamer...

"Oh snap, OB just subtly suggested that Hilary Clinton will be an employee in his administration becuase he'll be president and that cackling bitch wont be."

/yawn

PS: As much as I don't like Hilary Clinton - I'd vote for her in a heart beat compared to any of the "I love Reagan and Jesus more than my opponent" Republicans.

I don't like Hillary at all, but it seems like her being called "bitchy" etc. is just based on a stereotype of how women should behave. If she had been a man with the same personality, she would've been seen as nothing out of the ordinary.

The Monkey: With a response like that to the question posed to Obama? If a guy did that, I'd still think he was a bitch (well, I'd call him a douche, but its the same thing).

Nah, I don't like Hillary either, but its not entirely because of the Violent Video Game stint (which I view as a thinly veiled attempt to jump on a bandwagon before it started). No, its because she's a heartless, equivocating political monster who will make any kind of deal to secure her own power. The video game thing is just an example of this, as is the way she kicks Thompson to the curb after everyone finds out he's a patented nutjob. My greatest fear is that her administration would turn into an effective and competent version of the Bush administration: Shady people doing nigh criminal manipulation of the media and the fabrication of evidence to suit its own needs without getting caught.

The clip rather strikes me as the opposite of Howard Dean's sadly infamous faux-pax during the 2004 primaries. Could one of you regular TV watchers tell me if this clip gets repeated every five minutes on major news networks? It all depends of Obama's team has the ability and the unscrupulous will to take advantage of clips like these. But if they don't, I wouldn't hold it against them.

No, its because she's a heartless, equivocating political monster who will make any kind of deal to secure her own power.

Like every other presidential hack, I mean candidate?

I don't disagree but ALL of them are like this, Hillary gets nailed with this label becuase it's the narrative the media has given her. It sticks well on her becuase of how people seem to see women of power...cold hearted and calculating witches that will destroy America. Whereas a cold and calculating man is stoic.

Clinton : A heartless, bitch.
Obama : An unexperienced, young senator.
Edwards : A wealthy lawyer who has a $400 haircut.

Huckabee : Pastor in Cheif
Giuliani : 9/11 Hero and Scumbag
Romney : The Mormon

Hilary can take it up the ass for all I care, because she is going down hard. Obama, you have Britain on your side m8!
