Dude that video is really old, and secondly, that was (yes, was) only with bots. It had to do with lag compensation which was enabled during offline play. Online you don't have that. And secondly, it's fixed now anyway (IIRC).

Yep. You never lag when playing offline with bots on your own server, unless you screw around with commands like that.

But anyways, there've been a lot of videos saying "look, at the hotboxes, they suck" or "the hit boxes are fine," but none really prove anything. They only show a few examples and that proves nothing.

lol - never played Counter Strike. I assume 1.6 is an older version with some issues? I was actually rather perturbed that my HL2 install forced me to install Counter Strike.

1.6 is a mod for half-life 1. It didnt have issues, many people think its the perfected counter-strike
