Rasmus Hxjengaard, Game Director at IO Interactive recently granted an interview with the magazine in Shacknews line about Hitman: Blood Money. Ramus announces that, during his missions, the player will be constantly under monitoring and it will imperatively be necessary to be vigilant. Indeed, of civil and the cameras will be able to locate you and your head will be known near the authorities, as well as newspapers. So the following missions will be much more difficult since it will be possible to be shown finger without to have done anything. Thus, the player will have thus the double of work to carry out by eliminating the awkward witnesses. Obviously, you will have the possibility of starting again the mission to avoid this kind of incident or of buying a new identity. In order to maintain a good notoriety, a report will be available to the end of each mission and according to the positivity of this one, you will more or less have facility in the next mission. In other words, Hitman: Blood Money becomes a true play of infiltration in which it will not be possible any more to advance like a bourrin, the weapon with the hand. Envisaged on PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, Hitman: Blood Money will be available soon.

anyone else completely unimpressed ? :s

Same, 3/4 screens are pre-rendered. Although I'm still looking forward to it.

The screens are a little old, but they're by no means pre-rendered. Besides, the Hitman series has never been about the graphics - but now that it does look rather pretty, it's just a huge tacked-on bonus.

Oh yeah, it's recently been confirmed that bullet decals on bodies are back in for BM. This is fantastic news. There are screens showing this, but they're scans so I can't link to them :/

:upstare: oh no the graphics arent as l33t as UT2007 it must be crap!!!

anyone who's played any of the hitman series knows the game isnt about graphics but rather about gameplay ..hitman 2 is still one of my fave games because it wasnt the same generic cookie cutter game where it's you against a horde of badguys and a bag full of weapons.

I've never played a Hitman game but this one looks really great. I'll give it a try when it comes out.

I think only the 4th screenshot and maybe the second is pre-rendered/doctored

the rest are in game.

that's a pretty huge crowd of witnesses he has to kill if he kills the victim in that first shot :p

oh and by the way that translation/french article was ****ing horrible... :s

Who wrote that paragraph? I couldn't make much sense of some of it :p
LOL. Some of it was lost in translation I am sure. Still great info. The screens looks great. And yeah, Hitman is like Thief in that the graphics don't make it, the gameplay does and that never gets old!

if you're a fan of the series, how could you not be excited, regardless of graphics :p

i loved the game, but did anyone find the last hitman game (contracts) a bit hard follow(as in storyline) i mean there were new levels and then you were doing the same levels from the first game.........
what was going on?
but it was a great game

I liked Hitman 2 the best so far. Hitman 4 looks amazing though.

47 had been shot, and he was having 'flashbacks' of his previous hits. No real storyline to follow at all, apart from the final mission where you escape the hotel he retreated to in the cinematics.

good news :D
for a while i almost thought this sequel fell through or something but yay! :)
