the ign screenies look alot better than the eurogamer 1s, nice alright.

trailer is badass, gotta love jesper kydd's score, was that michael madsen doing the voiceover?

looks like they've sorted out his walk too, it was a bit odd in contracts.

i like the idea of creating accidents to cover up the hit, then they're reported in the media as accidents. although it'll probably be the usual context sensitive type of things.

Indeed, I love the Hitman - Sicily theme. Hitman always has one of the best scores for any game.
 
I've only played Hitman 1 and Hitman 2. Loved them both.

you didnt miss much with contracts, it wasnt great, felt like a glorified expansion.

Same here. Contracts on the other hand was rubbish

Yeah, I never purchased Contracts because it felt like an expansion then a whole new game. Hopefully, this will live up to 46 and SA.
 
I have all three in the series, and they're all bloody brilliant. Blood Money is looking fantastic, though!

"You can also spend the cash sprucing up your arsenal and buying other specialist equipment and information. A nice touch that certainly beats simply picking up those oh-so-conveniently discarded weapons. And talking of weapon customisation, players will be able to modify Agent 47's arsenal in more than 50 ways including sound, recoil, rate of fire, damage, reload speed, accuracy and zoom."

Gahh. Must... stop... salivating.
 
Looks cool :) I hope they include the old mixed akimbo pistol system, that was the s**t! :D

The voice sounds similar to Madsen, but I don't think it's really him.
 
did you see part where 47 is climbing on the roof of that house, if you pause it just before that you can see LA in the background.

i keep watching the trailer. gotta love the music.
 
I only ever played the first one. Great game though, I remember a few things like the ragdolls being amazing at the time - I'd have to say my favourite level in the first game was the hotel one, where you had to kill that bloke in sauna - getting the key to that nuke :D

I was kind of put of the series when I played the demo of contracts.
 
Another game planning to murder my computer. I swear it's a conspiracy. My X300 can't even run HL2 at high settings I can't bear to think what it'll be like in 5 years time, and the com is freaking brand new.

that mission was in contracts too, they 'remade' it, it was a good mission alright.
 
yea is it me or did the 'remade' version suck ass. it would have been so much better if they left it the way it was. what was up with no sauna!! that sucked!! and where were the dozens of innocents i loved to just sneak up on and have my way with!?!? gah contracts = uber shit.
 
I loved Hitman 1 & 2. There was no better feeling than to just ghost through the entire mission killing the mark in a completely covert way...then again, there was no better feeling than to just blast everyone you see and see them fly back and hit the walls from the exaggerated ragdolls.

Watched the trailer - it felt like a movie teaser more than a game teaser and that was pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to this one for sure.

they had the sauna in contracts too, he goes from the pool to the sauna i believe. i think he then gets dressed and goes to the bar, not sure, that might be the other brother you have to kill.
 
I liked the dark, grittyness of Contracts. I'm glad it went for that. Hitman lives shouldn't be glamorous. They should be hunting bad men and these bad men's lives should be obvious to what they do.

I didn't like Contracts, it felt like they were pulling out the fun and trying to make it scary. It certainly lost the surreal-ness of the first two, in favour of some sort of cross between Tim Burton films and Se7en which somehow made a negative number.

yes his new face looks terrible, im in a hitman forum and everyone is disappointed with it, the hitman on the left of the screen throughout has a great face, the cgi 1, they should use that for him instead as their template.

Not really, I loved Max Payne's 2nd face. And he had aged. Which was logical.

Sam Fisher suddenly got his eyeballs out (maybe some chemical weapon ?)

Hitman is now 1.5m tall and a face of a small bull. I love their high-resolution model renders because they show this cold and calculist face I love.

max payne changed for the good, hitman for the bad.
 
Loved the 2cond, great game, loved when you got back from mision into the sanctuarry so you could play with the pigs and pigeons, and the gun colection was great also. I'm thinking of buying number 3, is it worth it ?

contracts feels like an expansion imo, a few new weapons, moves, animations, not a full sequel, but you'll probably like it alright, it should be quite cheap now too.
 
Don't buy Contracts if you are scared easily. The first and third levels are terrifying. But, it is a good game, I especially enjoyed the level in the snow. I would like to see if Blood Money has multiplayer (any word on that yet?) seeing as every stealth game today has multiplayer. I could picture it being "First to the Kill" or maybe "Assasins vs Bodyguards"
