My name is Jordan. I am new to this half life thing. Some idiot on irc showed me a video of half life, it was awesome! I want to learn more about it. Please help, Im a newbie! :cheese:

Well this forum is mainly for Half-Life 2 chat. That's the sequel that should be out at some point this year. Then once you've done that, if you haven't seen the whole of last year's E3 presentation then you will find that in the http://www.halflife2.net/videos.php section of HL2.Net. Once you've looked through the videos then you want to read our Valve Speaks articles here: http://www.halflife2.net/articles.php. If you've still got time left then play Opposing Force which was an add on pack for HL.

By that time it will be E3 where there will be even more information and new media coming out Very exciting time you've joined us, so welcome.

When is half life comming out. The person who showed me the video said this summer. Will it be avaliable before october 04?

You guys should make a half life faq. So newbies can read about it and understand and so on.
