The version 1.5.1 of HL2DM Pro is now ready for download. Check the downloads page to grab it : http://www.hl2dmpro.com/downloads.html . There are full installation packages as well as incremental installation packages. Download the package that suits your needs.
The servers must also be upgraded. Server owners, please add the version of your server to the name of it.
This version is not just a fixed version of the version 1.5 as the version numbering could let you think. While it, indeed, fixes the few bugs discovered in version 1.5, it also introduces new features like the possibility to use colors in your nickname and in any text message (say or say_team).
Also, this release introduces an improved spectator mode in which you are able to see if the player is zooming or not. In addition, if you have activated the hitsound feature, you will be able to hear the hitsound of the player you spectate.
We have added an in-game Advanced Menu for the player in which you can fully control your gaming environment : you can for instance control where the mini scoreboard must be located. The Server Admin menu has also been improved to give more control to the server owner such as choosing what teams are allowed per gamemod and what gamemods can be voted in the server. For instance, you can choose to restrict the TDM to 3 teams maximum and those teams being blue, pink and green.

HL2DM Pro is litteraly two games in one box cause there are two modes that you can play using HL2DM Pro :
. Promod : is HL2DM MP with additional features and tweaking to make the game faster and more addictive and fun to play. The Tau Canon aka Gauss, longjump pack and bunny hopping are part of the Promod for instance. And there are a lot of additions like brightskins, hit sound played when your shot is registered by the server which makes this mod a very fast paced game.
. HL2MP original : is the game developped by Valve. The entire code from Valve has been kept as is and is just updated each time a new release is made public by Valve.
Also, HL2DM Pro provides the following game modes on top of the usual FFA and TDM modes : Instant Gib, Arcade, Arena, LTS.
Finaly, HL2DM Pro provides a Graphic User Interface which facilitates the setup of a match. All common match settings such as "Friendly Fire", "Weapon Stay", "Current Map/Next Map", "Time Limit" and others can be set in a very simple and efficient way via teh GUI. While all these settings can be decided thanks to the integrated voting system, the mod also enables a superadmin to decide on match settings and control the options that can be used on the server.
