HL 2 will not install

I’ve just got HL2, I put the DVD in the player but I get nothing come up, like its not there. I try my other games like Halo and its all ok.

I got Win XP, Radeon 9700 pro, Pentium 4, 2 GHz, 512 RAM

This is the second HL2 DVD, the first one I took back to the shop thinking it was faulty, but it seems it’s my PC.

Can someone please help me?

are u jus waiting for autorun? go to my computer and then ur cd drive and install it from there

Thanks for replying.

It’s on outorun already, when I’m in my computer I can see what game I have in D drive, but with HL2 it doesn’t show it’s in the DVD player.

Any other ideas?
