HL models in maya

Does anyone know how to work the SDK tools for maya. There seems to be no documentation for anything. It's really confusing. I am an expierenced maya user and I still cant figure this out. Any help would be much appreciated.
 
All the scripts required to export models are in the SourceSDK/Maya folder. Basically you just execute the script and it will run whatever it is assigned to, obviously, as for the documentation, try opening some of the .mel script files up in a text editor. The comments ussually decypher how to use the script.
 
Have a good look inside the sdk folder, they added a maya folder with the latests update (to the sdk). The maya folder is actually just a bunch of scripts, that you'll need to copy over into your scripts folder (the one in mydocs > maya). After the scripts are installed (they also include cps script, and a couple other usefull ones you probably already have (if you're really into maya)).

That's as far as i'll guide you. further then that, have a look at
www.************* or the sdk ressources for more info on what to kind, and how many .smd you need to export. Keep in mind that Valve is still working on the sdk, so they havent fully documented it yet, so confusion and frustration can still be part of the game.

its hl2world with a "www." in front, and a ".com" at the end. Thats all i pointed him to, as it's cencored if i write it all toghether
 
I don't see why they included CPS.... Can someone tell me exactly which scripts I need in order to export/compile? No more, no less, just these files
