HL2 Bronze package.... Can i ever get a CD?!?!?

I bought the HL2 bronze package off steam when i originally purchased HL2. And now come time to format i don't wanna have to redownload all like 5gbs of HL2 and steam stuff. is there anyway to get a cd or something????? i called valve but all i get is message and machine..... i'm sure someones had this problem right?!?! thanks

Steam has a backup tool.

Right click on the Game -> Backup game files...

Lucky me, I have the GCF's over on my network, so I just gotta copy em over, update games yehaw.

Yes. It's built into steam.

just so i know what i'm doing.... where are the save files located and what else do i need to save ......?? from like CS or CSS etc....

You don't really need to backup your Save files (unless you REALLY need to start from a specific spot in the game). Just use the command sv_unlockedchapters 15 and then you can begin a new game in any chapter.

Or unless you really happen to like starting with all of your ammo (which may be close to completely full) rather than whatever they decide to give you.
