I just installed HL2 and CSS after getting my new 200GB HD yesterday. Boring installing it but ohwell. After that was done, I tried to launch CSS (CS Source).. 'You will be able to play in 47 Minutes' .... Ugh. Fine! :frown:
After about 50 Minutes, it was done. Double clicked CS and it said 'Only one instance of this game can be running.'
Uhm... right.... but it isn't running.
The game was not running. So I looked in processes. hl2.exe was there. I ended it.
I tried to then launch CS Source, It says its loading and whatnot but when it's done, it doesn't launch. Well it does but only in processes... What's up with that?
I've also tried HL2, same thing. It's really wierd. I've tried searching the Steam Support but nothing came up that tickled my fancy. Also, the Search was broken on this site so I decided to post.
Hope someone can help!
P.S. Before I launched the game it said my Vid Card drivers were 'out of date'. Which, technically they are. I have a Radeon 9600 Pro and the normal ATI Drivers don't work so I use ATI Omega Drivers. They newest ATI Omega Drivers do not work so I am using Radeon Omega Drivers 2.5.97a (Catalyst 4.12)
