hl2 dinosaur mod

Does anyone here think that it would be possible to make a good humans vs. dinosaur mod with the halflife 2 engine a la Jurassic Park? Or would creating playable dinosaurs (or ai dinosaurs) with good models/animations/coding be basically something only a professional team could tackle? Just curious as to what any of you might think. 8 )

They're one of those teams protesting against Ubi soft delaying the release of the sdk. Fair enough as well!

Im pretty sure they can. if they can pull off something like natural selection http://www.natural-selection.org/ (A great mod by the way) with the half life 1 engine. they coudl probly make dinos with the hl2 engine =D SOMEONE MAKE A DINO MOD!!!

Did you actually look at their website? Where it says, "Jurrasic Rage, Half-Life 2 Modification"? It's one of the better known HL2 mods.

And of course it's not done. They haven't even released the SDK yet, let alone the game.

theres probably more news on the net about it by now but I remember sam neil saying this way back and it gave me goosebumps.

Heh. don't be fooled by the far cry jurassic mod. Their site top gfx are from the original nvidia crytek engine tech demo, not mod media. The mod has a site... but that's it. If I were them I'd ask crytek for those models and skins. I mean, might as well.
