HL2 Episode 2 don?t work...

Hi.

In my new HL2 Eipsode 1 (Episode Pack), the video and sound is slow and the sound i i i i i ss s s s s stammerer... Well, my configuration: Pentium Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, 2 Gb Ram, Geforce 6100 256 Mb, Directx 9.C and sound 5.1... My configuration in the game are Ok. Any Help ?

What setting are you running at? Is the frame rate low at all times or does it happen occasionally?
Your Geforce 6100 is not that good a card so don't expect to max out the game without lag.

a 6100?! I had a card somthing like that when I got the orange box. A 5600 and Dx 8.1. Yeah.

What i did to play at playable framerates was play the games at 800x600 resolution and all the settings lowest. It ain't pretty, but It got me through the game and was a blast.

Despite your (relatively) low specs, you may have the infamous stutter bug. The quick fix back in the day was to increase the amount of Virtual Memory on your hard drive, or before that updating your sound and video drivers.
