HL2.exe error

Ok i have recently Downloaded CS: Source but when i try to play it, it says that an error occured with HL2.exe and had to close so i cant play.... so can anyone tell me wat i have to do to fix this?

Specs, do you have steam, ect. (Computer specs, I mean).

I hope you have Steam, or Shasta will explode.

Try BeracAdvisor, it'll tell you pretty much your complete specs. Or have a look around the control panel - systems - hardware, that should have your stuff there.
