When I try to play HL2 or any source games It says preparing to launch....then the toolbar goes away and then an error shows up. It says HL2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Ive never had a problem playing them on this computer. I restored my comp back to factory settings today cause my internet was running slow off spyware. Other games like TFC and regular DOD work but not HL2 or source. My drivers are updated, My direct X is updated, I know my comp is capable of running them I just don't know what the heck heappeaned. I've restored my comp before and had no problem with this heappeaning. I must be missing something...I just don't get it. I know I downloaded .net framework 2.0 today for my cataylist software. I dont think it has anythign to do with that. If anyone has ever had this problem...please let me know cause I dont want to restore this crap again.
