Scaring people is a tricky business. It just won't do to hide behind doors and jump out shouting 'Boo!' anymore. Admittedly this is coming from a man who can't intimidate a small child ( and believe me, I've tried). Luckily, I don't have to bother, because the Pumpking NIght,a spooky single-player Half-Life 2 mod - in which a young boy foolishly wanders into an abandoned farm on Halloween night - is now available for download.[br]

I don't think I'll bother getting this. At least until they sort out a decent place to download it
 
I would love to try this but the download is to slow.
Is it FPS, adventure,...?
 
Yeah, it's really slow. It's going 15kps. I have an 11Mps connection.

what does the gameplay comprise of? is it like a shooter, or adventure...etc...?

Adventure. You need to solve a lot of puzzles (find objective, use objective etc).

Just downloaded the RAR file and the damn thing is incomplete...

Well, they failed to find a good host for the downloads, and they missed their short deadline. That's "rushed" in my opinion.

QFT. I'm completely stuck. When you destroy the dumwaiter you can't move on anymore :/

EDIT : Ok, I found it out. But first I had to reload the level five times because the ****ing tractor either fell off the road, or simply stopped moving after some time. And wtf is with the spraypaint?

The intro was so lame. I mean come on: you need to go to (all identical) houses to ask for candy at City 17 (because that's how they look like) citizens? You didn't even need to put the mask on or anything.

Sounds allot like Swiss Cheese Halloween, except after finding the guns in Swiss Cheese, the game became enjoyable.

I know, but I was expecting a totally new game.

Oh well, i'll just have to see when the download mirrors are up.
 
I downloaded the EXE, but all I get is a command prompt window with thetext cursor thing flashing about the place.

Because when you DL the exe, it downloads a corrupted 400kb file.
 
somebody start a torrent... although i'm using getright to accelerate download of the .rar to 45kb\sec... torrent would probably be faster

File planets get me 200 kb/s 10 mins left and i just started the download lol
 
Wow that game was a pain in the hole, i'd finished it and the ending was a sucker, this get's 4/10 :p
 
Im playing right now its pretty fun i just reached the part where i go to a scary house with my bat.
 
Anybody else having the problem that all the halloween signs are blacked out and something seems wrong with the lighting?
