Stuck in warehouse (after picking up 357), need to figure out how to run across top of storage containers to get to the other side where the balcony is. Any thoughts?

That's pretty much it; you just jump across the containers to the otherside. Do you mean the Gate/Outpost place with the chopper circuling around outside? That should be it. Otherwise, there are some boxes in the left hand corner as soon as you enter the warehouse that can be jumped up, I think.

I know you are all very good. I am not a gamer, and am playing on a laptop. I'm a 78 year old guy who is doing this to get my mind off of a personal tragedy - death in the family. I am attaching screenshot. I've attempted to run using the shift key, but fall off on the second jump.

You have to jump to the other end. Just walk forward and hit SpaceBar (it makes you jump) and you will jump forward. Keep on doing it till you reach the other end.

Please excuse my rude skepticism but... Are you really 78 years old? Wow... I mean, it's possible that you're lying for whatever reasons but if a family member of yours did die, then you have my deepest sympathy.

Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed the parts of Half-Life 2 that you played; I know I have. I just hope your anxiety dissipates within short time.
