Recently finished 2 "HL2-Ignition" wallpapers which look pretty hot.

Argh, those are horrid. Please try not to base your work on filters only. At least not autogenerating stuff like that and lensflares.

You think thats a filter? Im impressed, I didnt know my work can fool people.

I did that by hand using the liquify tool, brushed every flame stroke.

No it's not an eyecandy fire filter!

what did you use to make the flame before you liguifyed it? i really like the effect.

rotate image
apply wind filter
gaussian blurr 2 pix
hue/saturation orangy color
then duplicate layer and put it on top
hue/saturation red color
change blending mode to color dodge
flatten image
liquify

Its better that you made them by hand, but still flames and lensflares are utter lame.

I dont know what lensflares you are talking about, plus that's your opinion and I respect it, other people like the wallpaper.

It also goes nicely with the Counter.

I love the Blue Flamed one. I turned it so its on the side . So that i can see the CountDown wallpaper too
