Ive had several problems with steam downloading hl2 as ive mentioned in other threads, but there is another one ive only recently realized of. I've installed hl2 into my steam folder located at 'D:\steam' right, but the first time steam started downloading hl2 from scratch and i couldnt get into it until it finished (which took about 2 weeks on 56k), i uninstalled it, hoping to reinstall and fix the downloading problem, but nothing changed, not even my harddrive space, i only reinstalled about 2 hours ago, and another 3 gigs went off my harddrive, now i only have about 500meg left. it reinstalled with the same problem, only worse, and i accidentally chose 'delete current game files' from the steam properties window, and now when i go to hl2 install from the games menu, it says it cant install cause it needs another 3-4 gig but theres only 500meg, where does this crap keep going? my steam folder isnt getting any bigger..
