HL2 is so close I can feel it!

My oh my have we come such a long way. After last September's disaster and all the following month's drama, we're FINALLY getting tons of positivie news - an dates. Dates straight from the big guy (pun intended) himself!

Man I hope Half Life 2 lives up to it's hype. Doom 3 was such a letdown to me, that now Half Life 2 is really the only reason I still keep my PC updated for gaming. Far Cry was a great game, but no more then a teaser compare dto what I expect for HL2.

My 9700 Pro is aching to play a REAL DX9 game at full throttle. Hope it can hold up!

I get the same feeling too that it is right around the corner.

I have faith that it won't be like Doom III (eye candy without long term playability). I have faith that it will raise the bar like the original Half Life did.

There's no question Half-Life 2 will be better than Doom 3...We all know the Multiplayer will be awesome. CS:Source mainly...and Single Player will be better too.

Me too. I started playing Half LIfe 2 since like 7-10 or 6-10 it was a great experinece for me I loved it, was on of my best FPS games Half Life 2 will take it even farther I beat Half Life 1 like 4 or 5 times I also loved Opposing Force that expansion was great. I have the Collerctors edition with all 5 games. Half Life, Team Fortress, Counter Strike, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force man I love it
