The Intelligent Design team (www.idmod.net) is back in the saddle again, making some great progress. However, we can?t do it all alone, we need a few talented individuals to help us make ID great.
We are currently looking for:
A C++ programmer with experience with the Half-Life 2 Source engine, we have a couple of talented programmers but we are spending lots of time having to find various things within the engine and still have questions about Valve implementations. Having a person with HL2 Source experience would allow us to have a sturdy leg to lean on when needed. This would also allow us to focus on content creation and getting the best features into the game. If you are a talented experienced coder, contact us, we have a bunch of code related projects we could get you started with immediately.
An experienced 3d modeler. You should be comfortable taking a model from the design stage all the way up to texturing. Understanding and experience in model optimization and normal mapping would be considered a huge plus. You do not need to know how to texture at this point, though having that knowledge would be a huge asset.
An organic concept artist to the creation of Feral characters. This artist will have to be able to work with and without direction to create work mimicking the style of existing and partially completed artwork. There is still room for personal style so this person will get to create content as well.

Most times, when you read help wanted posts, there?s a blurb about the mod itself and a link to the mods website with usually no visible indicators of progress to judge how serious the mod is being taken. Intelligent Design is going with a more open development philosophy, constantly updating its fans with new information about what we are doing. We have a long road to go, but with some help we will continue making steady regular progress.
