It says ETA- Estimated Time of Arrival, this means somewhere around this date, I still think it is the 16th.

Maybe they're having a midnight event thing or something, so they changed it to the 15th so people would come early and buy other stuff while they waited for the date to change over.

im pretty sure someone will be playing it before the 16th, a shop somewhere will sell it before the 16th
if that happens steam buyers get theirs unlocked

Im going to buy HL2 in a store where it just ships
on 11.16.04.... There are always some strange
cases... but for the rest it will be 16..

Hey but you need to log in to play HL2 don't you? So it doesn't matter if you buy retail or Steam since VALVe decides when *EVERYONE* gets to play, right? I bet you can play Steam earlier than going to a shop and buying, installing and activating HL2. They need to activate HL2 in advance because there might be early buyers in retail stores which would otherwise have to wait after spending their money.

Valve controls everything... which should mean that

everyone will start playing 11.16.04... even the Steam users, I think

As for the official website.... Maybe Valve is just tooo busy to

finish their work properly..

My friend ordered Pro Evolution 4 from Gamestop.com (i think), and got it the day before it was released - maybe that's what they mean by moving it a day early.

no it is same day as release. the 16th
