Where can i get the music for HL2... Is there a CD commin out, or can i find them in the system files... Just wondering . i love to listen to the music in this game, its hard a$$

Yeah use GCFScape and load the "source sounds" gcf. They're all under the 'music' directory. I've been listening to them in WiMP all week

Now, once I open the file with GCFscape, could I simply extract the music files as MP3 to somewhere else on my HD; say my Music directory? Would that ruin the game at all by doing this?

I dont have the game, but have seen it in action..and really didnt see anything but "set the mood" music, like techno sort of stuff (which was just a bunch of duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh..da da..duh duh..stuff) ..am I missing out on some awesome music that all you guys are hyping about ?
