HL2.net crashes Iexplore

It seems about every 25th or so time I close a hl2.net iexplore window, windows explorer crashes. I have studied this problem for about a month now, and it only happens when closing an iexplore window with hl2.net in it. What gives?

What OS? What IE version?
Im running WinXP Pro/IE version 6.

Unfortunately mozilla does not allow me to use the beloved scrolly wheel in scroll-toggle mode.

It's been pretty reliable, and it has a BUNCH of options. A built in toolbar(you can choose practically any search engine) and tab browsing. No spyware as far as I can tell after my three months of using it.
