Inspired by the overwhelming crapness of the IGN Readers' top 100 games chart (as dissed here), with this thread I hope to create top 100 games for the HL2.net membership.
To make sure your favourites are represented, please list your favourite 10 games!.
I'll leave this thread running for a week, and then start a new thread to post the ranked list.
Some rules.
1. List 10 games - no more no less.
Edit: If you want, list it in order, 1 to 10. Your number 1 will get 10 marks in my tally, your number 2 will get 9 marks, and so on. If you don't rank your list, each choice will get 5.5 marks. If you've already posted your choices, unranked, but want to rank it, PM me about it please (sorry).
2. No discussion whatsoever in this thread. If you want to say something about someone else's choices, send them a private message, but keep it polite.
3. If a choice is part of a series, or had multiple releases with notable changes, be clear which part of that series you're talking about, e.g. Street Fighter 2 had many distinct versions on different platforms. This means that nominating a whole series (e.g. the whole HL saga) is not a valid choice. Please choose one from the series, or split them into seperate choices. If you're not specfic, but choose 'xxxx series', it will be regarded as a vote for the first game in the series.
4. If you vote multiple times for one game, it'll be counted as one vote, not more.
You might find it better to go and post straight away, without reading the existing replies, as to avoid everyone else's lists effecting your choices.
