Congressmen do pork-barelling because it helps them get re-elected. Congressmen who do not pork barell are more likely to get kicked out of office, because they can't take personal responsibility for voting on certain issues, yet they can take personal responsibility for pork barelling (ie. to build a water treatment plant in some little town)

Since McCain is paying for our HL2.net everyone here is obligated to vote for McCain, since if we don't support our sponsors it's like stealing. That's illegal.

But the reason those ads show up here is because of google ads. Hl2.net has no real control over which ads show up.

We partially do. Our forum postings must have set off some keywords and repetitions, and of course McCain signing up for Google ads, contributed to this base blasphemy.
