HL2 Problem: Stucked in BLACK MESA EAST

kindly please help me out...at the beginning of the chapter BLACK MESA EAST, i get stucked after talking with the LADY DOCTOR (i forgot her name) at the elevator. [on the part after she presses the elevator button] after she had ended her conversation, she just stands beside the button without doin anything. i tried to go inside the elevator and tried to press the elevator button but nothing's happening. i don't know what's wrong with my half-life 2...please help me...thank you! GOD bless!!!

Go to New Game and select the Black Mesa East chapter, see if it works then

Well she is supposed push that button in the elevator, and hit 3 floors down to Eli, there you also meet Alyx..



Try load from the last save or start new game like diluted said, I never had this problems so I cannot help u very much

99% it's a virus. I suggest reformatting your computer and then exchanging your copy of HL2 for Big Rigs.

how to noclip?

You'll need to enable console first in options, if you haven't already done so.

-> Options
-> Keyboard
-> Advanced
-> Tick 'Enable Developer mode (console)'
-> OK

Then, while in-game, press the '~', which is located above your Tab key and to the left of the number '1'. This then opens up console. Type in 'sv_cheats 1' and press enter to enable cheats. Afterwards, type in 'noclip' and press enter. Now you can fly and move through solid objects. To disable 'noclip', I believe you can either type in 'sv_cheats 0' or enter in 'noclip' again in the console.
