HL2: Raising The Bar in stores...?

Wonder when/if places like Wal-Mart or Target will get this.....then again, wouldn't be suprised if they didn't since they aren't book places anyone work at wally world have any info?

actually the eb that i work at got it today...my manager wont put it up for sale till the 16th though...he said he doesnt want to take any risks with the street date and all the kind of crap :x

i visited the local bookstore Saturday afternoon and still they hadn't received any shipment of this book.
i hope i can get it by the coming Friday...but i am in no hurry since the book its probably full of spoilers.
i will eventually get it tho

Cliffe in HL2Fallout's forums said that EB should have had copies on time this week and that bigger stores like B&N and Amazon.com will get their copies next week, by the time HL2 unlocks.

i checked my local Game store yesterday and they didn't have either the book or the prima guide. It says on their online site that they will have it on the 16th. What happened to the 12th?

Raising the bar doesn't have a release date on the Game website. It's annoying because I ordered from there ages ago.

I picked it up at EBGames earlier today. The quality is excellent, but I only read up to the HL1 and Mods sections because I didn't want to spoil HL2. Probably a good 3/4 of it is dedicated to HL2. Oh, and the foreward by Gabe is funny because it's from the perspective of the game having already been out... even though I got it before I played the game :O

well i have just been out searching for the book in the uk and i tried:
Game
Gamestation
Ottikars (bookshop)
Whsmith
and i couldnt find it at all i asked in all the shops and in Gamestaion i asked and they hadn't even heard of the book and the bloke laughed at me as said above if anyone finds it in the uk please tell me where
