HL2 Save games

I did the stupid thing of formating with out backing up my steam apps and have bow lost my finished HL2 saves Now you may think I am just trying to scab other peoples hard work but that is not so! What chapter are you up to? If you can tell us that, we can instruct you how to get back to that chapter and continue from the start of it, with use of little bypass.
