Do you think that Valve was just using the name Half-Life 2 to seem like the Survey was cool? and just making it at least some what interesting instead of just a regular survey?

Absolutely agree with you.

But it's still interesting to read. Interesting to see the number of people with AMD and Intel chips is fairly close. I also found it interesting that narrowband users are a tiny percentage...tiny!

I wonder what makes up most of the "other" video cards. Radeon XT series? My 9800 Pro arrives in the next few days.

Well you got to remember Steam isn't exactly broadband friendly let alone narrowband friendly

Maybe that is why.
