HL2 with ATI cards

In Australia one of our computer magazines had a short article on the new radeon X800 cards and at the end of this article they stated that HL2 will come bundled with these new cards.
Personally I don't believe it considering what happen to ATI last time they did this.
Has anyone heard a similar story?
We are eagerly awaiting the new video cards from ATI and Nvidia but we are anticipating prices up to AUS$1000+ for the high end cards.
Also most new games here sell for AUS$100, I would imagine HL2 would be at least $120+ depending on the version
I have a GF4 4200 64Mb x4AGP which is really struggling with any new game let alone when HL2, Doom 3 arrive, so I will be upgrading to probally a X800pro when they arrive (if I can afford it!).
We don't have any information here in Australia to when the ATI cards will be on sale, probally not for another month or two.

HL2 Bundle...

I wouldnt worry about it too much, i live in Australia and can pick up a Radeon 9800 Pro which will (supposedly) play halflife 2 at around 70 FPS for around $380 now (In south Australia) brand new, add $30 and you can pick yourself up a VGA Silencer for it and your laughing. I expect the new X800's to be around $600-$700 mark, personally id get a 9800 pro and spend the rest of the money on a new processor or ram or something, most probably ram as all the new games will be EXTREMELY ram dependant.
