hl2 wont decrypt the files....

i just uninstalled and installed steam again cause the pos wouldnt update the games without freezing...so now i'm waiting for it to unlock the game files and i dont remember it taking this long the first time....its been about 4 hours....so i cancelled it and restarted the computer but it still only gets to 20% and then freezes...

someone help please! i aint played this game in months cause of steams bs!!!!

Also, go to your Steam folder and delete your clientregistry.blob file.

again all its doing is just up to the 20% i guess it already did

Are you behind a firewall? Maybe somthing like a firewall is preventing you from downloading so much and stuff.

it worked fine until one day it had to update the game files and wouldnt do it. so i uninstalled it and what not and now its only gettin to 20% of decrypting the files....
