there is no other like Half-Life 2 for the Xbox, which has now become my all-time favorite title for the system, and a massively strong contender for the Xbox game of the year.

Do yourself a huge favor and play Half-Life 2. Turn up the volume and the lights down. I guarantee you've never seen anything else like this on a console before. It really is that good.

Didn't one review say that they made a few alterations? Meh.
And didn't Valve say at one point that they would bring over the level streaming from the Xbox in a Steam update so we can have even shorter load times?
Or am I imagining stuff again?

Brilliant! The loading times are I'd say at least half what they originaly were. And with this...
...well, the stuttering might get worse but I have experienced minumal amounts of that.

since I have a xbox I`m going to try it. would be fun to play the game without stuttering. I hope it will come to the 360. it probably will considering the money they will make.

It wont come to xbox 360, but it is backwards compatible with the xbox 360 if you have that 20 gig hdd.

Meh, i own all 3 current "gen" consoles, and i have to say, i cannot wait to get HL2 for xbox just to see what its like compared to the PC version, might wait till its gone down in price though, anothing thing though, i don't understand this hatred you lot have to Halo, i think its a brilliant game, just like i do HL2.

just picked it up and played it in the store before i left and im pretty impressed on the quality of it for the xbox. obviously if ur expecting high end pc graphics u will be dispointed. But it runs smooth, load times are amazingly short, even shorter then my PC sometimes. and when i was playing i convinced 3 people to buy it who had never played it for PC. xbox goty no doubt, seems no one can escape this game.

PS. i was saying it wasnt gonna be good a few months back cuz at e3 the demo was horrible, i now retract all those statements

It's difficult for me to bare looking at those screenshots... Sorry, but I think HL2 was meant to be played maxed out. I'm sure its still great, for any console fan.

I agree, I really liked Halo, a lot. My roommate and I played the single player countless times together and played 16 player lan parties all the time.

Halo 2 was somewhat of a let down for me and I couldn't believe the blind praise that game got. It had too many flaws to be a 5/5 game. That's my opinion.
