I have a thai version of HL. In order to play it on steam I need to get an language file HL2_eng.

Can anyone help?????

Is your game legal? Have you put the cd-key into Steam, and made sure that in the language settings in steam, English is selected?

steam should accept it no matter what langauge it is.steam is universal

Eh? I thought that affected only Steam.

Ummm... the game IS legal. It worked perfectly well on steam until I decided to format the hard drive.... when I lost the conversion file.

Hopefully some kind soul will point me in the right direction.....

im not really understanding but if you said you had the conversion file then why dont you just achieve it by doing the same thing again.
