only on HL2DM & CS:S freeze when i hit find servers the computer freezes. Not even the mouse cursor moves so i have to crash my computer. Please i need some help ;(
I have *exactly* the same problem, i was just about to ask about it as well.
Single Player runs perfectly. But CS:S and HL2DM both freeze the computer totally during the progress bar of *both* joining and creating servers.
I have deleted game files and re-downloaded them and still have the problem. The worst part is that, as you mention, the PC is totally frozen requiring a reset.
BTW, this has only occured since I D/Led DeathMatch and still happens even after latest patch/fix.
