HLDS help

I have verson 1120 which i need to update, and when i try to update it wont let me because i need to create an account, so when i need to create an account it tries to update. What is the latest version of HLDS and can someone give me a link? Thanks

I had that problem so i gave up and just got steam. Sorry i couldnt offer any decent help.

Steam is great by the way, i dont regret getting it one bit.
