i uninstalled half-life but iam still able to play it throw stream....why???

The files for Steam Half-Life are stored in the SteamApps subdirectory, not the Half-Life retail install directory.

but i also uninstalled stream and then a fuw mounths later reinstalled...

Your steamaccount holds information that you are the owner of Half Life. This way Steam will download Half Life for you when you reinstall steam. You don't need cd's with steam, that's what is so great about it
