Right, I've had a search of both the forums and google and havn't found anything on HLTV for Source engine games.
If i'm being an idiot, posting stuff that everybody knows already, don't shout too loud
After fiddling about, I noticed that HLTV is actually built into the dedicated server, instead of a separate client.
To get it on, I simply set:
sv_hltv 1
Then changed map.
The HLTV Bot was then in the spectators, and also was seen on the Steam Server Browser, with 128 slots available.
Unfortunately, once you join the HLTV, you can't properly spectate, it just leaves you in the map camera limbo which you can't get out of.
The record function also works for the HLTV:
hltv_record xname
But when played back, you cannot change position of the camera.
So what I'm guessing, is either there is some setting i've missed to get this to work, or Vavle have kind of half-finished HLTV, and it just isn't ready to be used properly yet.
