ok, here is me specs, pentium 4 2.26ghz a shitty motherboard, powersupply 200 9800pro 400core 360mem 512mn ram 4.8 catalist, formatted a few months ago, i check for visuses and i cleaned out my drivers before i install a new one, windows xp sp1

im worried first about my powersupply, i know 9800pro needs a 300, and second is my processor, i am hopeing to get at least up to 2.8 or something, and a new motherboard because its so old it isnt even listed in the manufat's site. im thinking i will need 50 to get a 300 power, and about 150-200 to get a good motherboard and a 512 mb ram stick, thats about 100 or around 80, it will be around 350, is 150-200 enough to get a motherboard with something like 3.0 ghz? and does motherboard come with its own powersupply? and i have no clue how to change a power supply, i look at it, and im like, its jammed inside, i see no way to take it out

with the current comp, i get ok fps on css, is it my comp? or is it the game? i get average of 73 fps on test, and on game, i get around 40

www.newegg.com Stupid questions, you could just have checked the prices yourself. It's not that ****ing hard.

Sorry.

Also, if you'd like to receive help, you should try typing in a more understandable way. Be a friend of dots and capital letters. No wonder noone's replied yet.

You also already seem to know what you need so be on your way. If you're going for a main-stream-gaming-machine, then go for an AMD Athlon64 3000+ instead of the Intel 3.0ghz, they should be in the same area concerning price.

You should get a 350W psu just to be on the safe side, and not some shitty brand one, but something like ennermax, antech. Etc.

LOL look at the bottom of my post thats tell all of it ..mines an HP pimped out 200 @#$@#$ watts is right

i thoiught the same thing when i got my card 3 dayz ago and it worked but use the y splitter they gave you

Well I wouldn't take the chance because your psu is probably a really nice high quality one and that's why it can handle your rig even though it's only 200 watt. I just upgraded to a nice Dynapower case that came with a good quality 430 watt power supply, $30.50 on newegg.

Lees then optimal u say ....ya sure that explanes my nice cool case and 5914 3d mark 2003 score

Plus ,my PSU is probably a nicehigh quiality it has 3 dif temp speeds when its hot goes faster..when its cold goes slowwer and when its OK it normla spinin

Well for your situation i would get a bigger PSU just to make sure but you can always try and make a miracle happen ;)
