Hmm, whats going on with Schwarzenegger?

We keep having commercials on tv with firefighters and teachers saying how bad he is
And naturally, if its on tv its true, so ppl like him less
 
That's not good, if he gets too pissed off hes gonna beat up the state of California!

I know, I know, another republican bashing post from No Limit. The truth is California has always been a blue state.

Because the Republicans did a great job at discrediting Davis, Arnold was elected. Now, California remembered they were Democratic and Republican policies don't sit well with them. The same would happen to Hilary Clinton if she was elected governor of a state like Texas.

Then what was up with all these posts I have read on these forums about how much people loved Arnold? They said he was a pretty damn awesome guy, and should even run for president! It was DEMOCRATS from these boards that were posting such things.
 
I doubt it ..there's few democrats on this board ...mostly non-americans and republicans ..with a few democrats thrown in for good measure

Personally, I never knew too much about Ahnold as a politician. I just thought it was cool that California would have a governator.

He kicks ass. But he seems to be satisfied with reaching this goal even though there's a large risk he won't be re-elected. Personally I'd have wanted to see him become president.
 
I like Arnold, and I think he'd make the best president ever. War on terror? Well, Arnold could just kick any asses he felt like without having to dispatch troops to some problematic region. And let's face it, he's not going to have any time for that Chirac idiot. He's just going to sock him one square in the face.

Sylvester Stallone should be the VP, to make for the ultimate force. Nobody's going to want to vote for the Democrats when there's that much awesome in one team.
 
They should have sent Sylvester Stalone down to "deal" with Katrina, then him and Arnold should run for pres. I would vote for them, they wouldn't take crap from anyone. They would be on the streets and would "talk" with the hippes that won't shutup until he talks with them. He wouldn't take crap.

Republicans like yourself should be even louder, especially next year. We should have no problem taking back congress with you guys letting statements like that slip.

Well, I didn't vote for the guy. He's just as bad, if not worse, than Grey Davis.
 
Gray Davis was a Democrat. If No Limit's theories were true, he would have been the BEST govenor ever because of that fact.

If you'd read in my other thread... i'm actually not a strict follower of political leaders of a party. If the guy is from the other party, but a fantastic canidate. I will root for him. My whole family is the same way. We look at the people's qualities and merits, not their political affiliation. Being a registered republican doesnt mean you always vote for republican. Or are you too naive to think otherwise?

Maybe you didn't read my theory completely, like you do with most my posts. you seem to have missed this part:

My post had nothing to do with Republican or Democratic policies. I was pointing out the obvious. Davis was elected during a time that things weren't going too great in California. I will not debate on the fact if all those problems were his fault or not as frankly I know very little about California politics. What I do know is that Republicans did a great job at pinning everything on Davis so California elected the governator and they are now having buyer remorse. If you got your head out of your ass, ignored my political ideology and payed attention to what I say in every post I make we wouldn't have as many problems as we do.
 
You're kidding right No Limit? There isn't a post or thread made by you that isn't spouting out some anti-republican rhetoric. I mean, the fact that i've seen people from your own side calling you out on your bullshit on several occasions speaks volumes.

You are again making statements that are flat out wrong. You called me out on my position which had nothing to do with attacking Republicans, I was pointing out the obvious on how politics works at the local level. Because you don't personally liked me you decided to completely misread what I said and attack me. When I called you on it, like I always do, you gave the half-ass reply you just posted. So I challange you to prove me wrong. The fact Davis was a democrat has nothing to do with anything, I pointed that out in the original post when I said California is a blue state.

Here is my theory on why you responded. You haven't been able to refute anything I posted in the last 2 weeks or so, so instead of going back to those threads that were importent to current events you figured you could challange me in a thread about someone that means very little to national politics. Try again, maybe you can come up with a way to attack me in the political jokes thread.

Haven't you realized I don't take politics seriously at all? I could care less for the most part about all of it. I myself can't change anything by debating it. Granted I pay attention to what is going on but I am not going to go and lobby or do anything of that sort because really it doesn't make a big difference. Instead of trying to debate all I do is post stuff to get people to argue/piss them off and then go play some games while they waste their time trying to prove me wrong. I hardly ever take politics seriously. I vote for who I think is better, but in the end my life is hardly going to change and the guys in office will take care of it all, there are plenty of Americans that do lash out at the politicians so they stay on their toes and are carefull about what they do. I don't follow blindly, I am well aware of what's going on. So don't try to say "you republicans let stuff like that slip, then you are t3h suck" because what I say doesn't even change anything. There you have it, my rant on politics and why I could care less.

I am happy with him. He is trying to reach his goals, regardless of popular opinion, which is something to be said.

People bitch now becuase he doesnt have the money to give them, he has to borrow from other sources. At least it is action towards something. If we realised that taxes NEED to be raised for a short period everything would be better.

absolutely 100% true- i couldn't have said it better. i see about 5 of these stupid ads everyday.

i am 100% percent behind Arnold. he's making an effort to balance our state budget, which gray davis ballooned into the stratosphere. for this to happen, the fattened unions need to have their extravagent meals scaled back- i'm speaking figuratively, of course.

all said, Arnold is fulfilling his promise to reform the state into finincial stability. to give you an idea of how bad things had gotten here, gray davis passed a law that gave illegal immigrants driver's licenses! repealing it was one of Arnold's first actions in office. he's got a huge mess to clean up here. what's esp. pissed everyone off is Arnold called a special election to allow citizens to vote on measures. the attack ads are from scared, collected unions who fear voters might wise up to how much they (the unions) are getting for doing nothing.

unfortuneately, he can't run for president, because the constitution requires a president be native born.

Dude what do you expect from Arnold...? The guy was a freakin ACTOR and STEROID ABUSER, and had absolutely ZERO qualifications. It's a joke if you ask me.
