Hmmmmm, birthday is coming up.

Well, my birthday is coming up and that means new games! I was
considering asking for Halo, Freedom Fighters, and Half life 2, only Half life 2 has been delayed(talk about a bad birthday ), but I'll probably have enough birthday money to buy it later. So I was wondering if you guys could recommend some games I should consider getting.

I'd say Halo would be good to get. If you havent played it on xbox then defenitly get it. If you have played it and think you wouldnt mind playing the single player some more, plus on line multiplayer.
I played through most of halo and I loved it. If I had the money I'd get it the day it came out for pc. (no way in hell im gonna buy an xbox)

What, exactly, makes Halo multiplayer so great? I have never played it... what makes it better than, say, HL mods such as TFC or other team-based games such Tribes 2? Oh yeah... and has anyone played Savage? That's out now, right?

Yeah I'll probably have a good birthday, games make anything good, but hopefully my dad won't eat half my cake like last year and uhh the year before that and uhhhhh the one before that. Hmmmm, I think I better hide my cake this year.

In my opinion, what makes Halo's MP great is the level design. They aren't super stylish, or so huge you can't find your way around for a while (as with Tribes 2), but they are layed out very well. As much as I love UT2K3, some of the official maps feel cluttered in some areas. I never felt like this while playing Halo. It's hard to explain, but, themaps are just fun. I hate that I can't be more specific than that. I own it for the XBOX and will own it for the PC, just for the multiplayer. Hopefully they will release a map editor, because map making is sometimes even more fun than playing the game.
