Holiday Sale starts on GOG.com

Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 Complete are both $6.99 each. thats a great price for excellent games but I'm afraid I'd never play them again. I want to remember them for what they were worth and play some new shit. my new moto is "play them all if possible"

I am going to be picking up quite a few of these. Pretty annoying that the Sierra 'Quest' games are not included, but hey, $9.99 ain't bad anyway. :)

Sweet deal.

Personally I prefer not to install Unfinished Business or the Tweak Pack, at least not for the first time. It ends up changing random stuff and you don't even know what difference that ends up making in the game.

DO install the fixpack, though. That is VERY important.

The guide linked by taviow is great, I used it for my first PS:T playthrough, followed it exactly in its recommendations.:)

Also, good deal on getting TLJ Bad^Hat, fantastic game that.

How is Two Worlds?

I remember hearing its name, but I cant recall if "Omg awesome" or "Omg piece of shit" was associated with it.

The Gothic games are great but can be quite difficult if you've been spoiled by the likes of for example Oblivion, or any RPGs with respawning enemies.

Seeing as enemies don't respawn in Gothic(Outside of wildlife but they only respawn once during chapter changes, and not between those changes) you can't grind, and you really need to plan your character far more than in the Elder Scrolls games.

I've played Gothic 1, 2 and 3 but never beaten any of them, mainly because I always managed to **** up my character design(At least in 1 and 2) making it extremely hard for me to beat the game, leading to me giving up.

But story-wise, quest-wise etc I quite enjoyed them.
