Holographic storage (Harddrives) Amazing!

I wish I had a laser gun + that.
 
Yeah, I wonder what the seek time is and how fast it is.

I saw a video of a computer running with a solid-state hdd and that was extremely quick. It booted up XP in under 6 seconds or something.

Mine does that. Xp gets booted in about 10secs. Thats with a 10,000 rpm raptor. It was about 5secs when i just built the comp.
 
Apparantly there suppose to be extremely quick if you read the last article on these.
