Using my laptop as a wireless network adapter for the 360! Don't have to buy a freakin $99 network adapter now! All I did was connect an ethernet from my laptop to the 360, have the wireless and lan connections on, select them both and right click either and click on bridge connections and wala!

That's a pretty cool idea actually :D

that IS a good idea, thanks for sharing
too bad i dont own a laptop with wifi OR use wireless internet

that 360 adapter is such a rip-off
im surprised more people dont do it this way

I agree, a regular usb wifi adapter would never cost that much. $30 for a cheap one. Although $99 wouldn't be far off from the alternative, a wireless bridge (ethernet port) at least last I saw (year or so ago).

I gave the info to my mate who will hopefully be able to fool his uni connection that it's a laptop connecting to the net, and not a spy 360. Ta for the info Deathmaster.

Ooh Yess! Now I get it.

Indeed, you could actually bridge wired-network to a one gateway system, where entire network system connect to the internet through it. You can also do it in wireless-network.

just an update, I've been having a lot of trouble with it, it keeps disconnecting every 10-15 min.s on the dot. I solved this by going to the router address (192.168.you know it) and enable upnp.

Wifi is made of win. <3 Wifi.

You could probably do it cheaper, by putting a wireless adaptor in an old pc, and doing it that way. Plus, depending on whether you use the pc at all, you can just leave it at that. Although, I would suggest you put some security on that wireless connection, such as WPA+PSK or WPA2+PSK, just so no mofo can hack in and tamper.
