Here's a clip
Of course, leaks of games and source code have happened before but the planned and highly organized theft of source code for an upcoming game as high profile as Half-Life 2 is a new situation and game developers contacted by HomeLAN for comment are all unanimous in their condemnation of these actions. "The theft of source is FAR more serious than traditional game piracy, "said Irrational Games head man Ken Levine. "I don't condone but can understand ripping off a game...I can't understand why somebody would do this. Like everyone else in the world, I expected HL2 to be the game of year. In the normal course of events the game would have shipped in the next couple of months and Valve would have gone to work, as they always have, improving and supporting their product. Now they get to spend the next six months doing damage control."

Hopefully this article will help some of the people on this forum understand why this is a serious problem.

Of Course it's very serious.

But the game was not coming out this year.

*cough* Posted as news on front page already *cough*

Lol! I don't think it's THAT serious. It's not going to delay me until April anyway. Yes folks, I'm available right now, just mail me at... No, that's probably not a good idea.. I could be haxxored or something.
