Hah, that was great.

Fish tacos sound really good right now.

Haha, this is great. The drawings make this story.

Adorably horrifying.

Been meaning to check out more of this site.

That's not as bad as what happened when me, my brother and my uncle first went fishing.

So we were at the base of the cliffs of donegal, throwing the hook (my fishing lingo is poor) 30m or so into the sea, and then reeling it back it. Over and over with the sea crashing against the rocks and the spray in our faces.

Eventually after an hour no-one has a fish and we're wet and cold and decide to go home. Just then, my brother (Aged 10) gets a bite:

"I've got a bite I've got a bite!" He exclaims excitedly,

"Reel it in quick!!" Shouts my uncle.

So he starts reeling it in as fast as possible eventually he gets it up onto the rock and the fish is just thrashing around everywhere. My brother immediately becomes aware of what he has done and just watched, transfixed as the hook causes more and more damage to the fishes gills and theres a little blood and everything.

"Connor, kill it!", my uncle tells him, giving him this wooden mallet.
"I don't want too", my brother says, he's gone white and my uncle puts this mallet in his hand "Kill it! Kill it!" my uncle says more forcably

My brother eventually makes some feeble attempts hitting it, going green now. The fish still flashing with the hook embedded in it.
Then my uncle takes the mallet off him and finishes the fish off.

My brothers now visibly upset, crys a little and is still quite off colour. Hours later, at home the fish is cooked and my brother says he doesn't want any. He's eaten fish before and so my mother thinks he's just being fussy and forces him to eat it. Afterwards my brother is very very sick.

He's never eaten fish since and often will refuse to sit at the table if anyone else is having fish, he says the smell makes him feel sick but I know it was this incident that put him off for life and he doesn't even remember it.

I think every kid has a story similar to this. very cute and funny :)

That was brilliant
I remember being a little kid and deciding to dig holes and such. I would spend hours outside and afterwards would be left with a 10cm deep hole that to me looked huge. Actually now I think about it one time I tried to wash one of my hermit crabs under hot water after he had been outside. The next day I woke up and all but two of his legs had fallen off, it was shattering when he died later that afternoon :(

Oh god, that was hilarious.

Never heard of this site, but I can't stop reading/laughing to tears at it.

I know right it's the best site ever!
