I have a slight problem with my PDA and since you guys have helped in the past, I thought I'd throw down my cluelessness and ask for assistance.
I went on holiday and my PDA battery ran out completely. OK, so I reinstall the software and sync with my PC right? Only when I connected to the PC the software treated it like a different PDA and refused to let me use the dame ID name for it. OK, setting up a new access isn't so hard, and I can still sync my email and calendar.
However.
When I reinstalled the Tom Tom navigator software, it also thinks I'm using a new PDA and wants me to purchase a new licence. No thanks.
So I guess the question I put before you is this: Is there a way for me to link up to my PC using the PDA's original name and would this let me use the original Tom Tom licence... or is there something else I can use to make the old software work. I have a sense of direction that can be compared to a partially stewed cabbage and need to have my nav system back.
Thanks for your help.
